  31. Naphterosaurus Fianensis was created on a 486/66 with SB-16 ASP MCD soundcard 
  32. on 30th of April 1995 after some couples of hours' reading through Michael
  33. Crichton's Jurassic Park. It was astonishing, that after having seen the film
  34. by Steven Spielberg (or should I say : Silicon Graphics ??), I finally 
  35. discovered that there was indeed a story behind all of it. Or maybe it is
  36. only in the book. The characters in the film differ completely from those
  37. described in the book.

  39. Because I use the panning and surround commands quite often these days, you
  40. should play this module with a recent player like DMP 3.01 or Cubic.

  67. This module is the 13th in a series about the many different jobs on the
  68. refinery. Together they will constitute a music disk, called 'FinaDisk 1995'
  69. which will be released at the end of the year, containing all modules I
  70. will create during this year and my stay at Fina. 
  71.  
  72. As I am out of job numbers - I think I've had most of the important jobs -
  73. I will be geving my new modules more original titles :)
  74.  
  75. Well ... I already mentioned it above : I created this one after reading
  76. through Jurassic Park. 
  77.  
  78. If you insist on having a background story : Naphterosaurus Finanensis is a 
  79. recently discovered dinosaur species. It used to live in the area where now
  80. Fina Refinery is located. Its skull and bones were discovered were discovered
  81. upon digging the foundations for the new engineering buildings. Naphterosaurus
  82. Finanensis weighed about 15 tons, and were upto 24 meters in height. This
  83. herbivore typically lived in herds of 10 to 15 animals and is known as a 
  84. rather intelligent life-form. Naphterosaurus Finanensis took care of their
  85. children and taught them how to read and write dinosaus stories. Many nursery
  86. rhymes of the era were discovered among the skeletons. Some of our 
  87. contemporary verses are indeed based upon this heritage from the prehistoric.

  89. If you still want to learn more about this unusual species, you should look
  90. up its description in the Elseviers' Big Guide of Universal Humbug, which
  91. will be released some day in the near future. And remember, when I say
  92. 'near' future, I am speaking in geological terms ... ;-)
